Besides our beautiful setting and terrain, this daily 3pm tradition might just be Beaver Creek’s most renowned claim to fame. Look for the guest service employees in red with chef hats at the base of Centennial Express Lift (#6) each day. They’ll be the ones with trays of warm, fresh-out-of-the-oven cookies piled on silver platters.

As the premier mountain luxury resort, you’d expect nothing less than the most advanced snowmaking systems and snow surfaces. We’ve invested in ensuring the most high-quality snow surface possible with the Snow Refresh Project. This program, coordinated by our snow surface experts, includes a series of dedicated snowmaking machines that fan a light, continuous dusting of new snow on Centennial, Red Tail and Gold Dust trails.
Beaver Creek’s events quickly become traditions – from the opening day Cookie Competition to the Christmas Tree Lighting, Winter Culinary Weekend and the banner event: the Grand Tasting. Participants come back year after year to earn their spot on the wall for the Talons Challenge – a leg burner of a day doing some of Beaver Creek’s most iconic bump runs. And, of course, we hold the distinction of being the only mountain in the United States to hold a stop on the World Cup with Birds of Prey.
