72 hour guide to Beaver Creek

Your Beaver Creek Travel Guide for Winter

Only have 72 hours in Beaver Creek? Check out our 3-day Beaver Creek itinerary and get inspired for a family-friendly visit.

Located in Colorado’s beautiful Rocky Mountains, Beaver Creek is modeled after its sister city Lech, Austria which is nestled deep in the heart of the Alps. Freshly baked cookies greet you daily at 3 pm by chefs with silver platters. Warm lift seats, heated sidewalks, and conveniently placed escalators so you don’t have to walk upstairs in ski boots. If you’re looking for service and luxury, this is the ski resort for you.

Best Food in Beaver Creek

Rimini and Vail Mountain Coffee & Tea are both great spots to grab & go in the mornings. Rimini features made-to-order crepes, and Vail Mountain Coffee has been in business for over 30 years and features croissants, pastries, and locally roasted coffee.

From casual to epicurean, Beaver Creek has an array of lunch options throughout the village. Visit the newly remodeled Coyote Cafe for TexMex classics, freshly flown-in fish at Hooked, or buffalo chicken tots at the Dusty Boot.

If you prefer to apres around town instead of at your vacation residence, watch the skiers come down the hill from the patio at Beaver Creek Chophouse. The key lime martini tastes amazing whether it’s hot or cold outside.

Want to venture out and get dressed up for a gourmet dinner? Hop on a complimentary shuttle to Splendido at The Chateau to feel like you’ve been transported to a castle in Switzerland for the evening. If you’re traveling with kids and staying close to the village is more convenient, the Dusty Boot has margaritas and burgers as big as your head.

Open Wednesday through Sunday, Black Diamond Bistro is a great spot for après or dinner, and an easily accessible option whether you’re a guest at The Charter or staying somewhere else. The head chef has received career accolades from Bon Appetit, Gourmet, and Esquire so it’s a must-stop during your visit to Beaver Creek.
